更新了Gallery!

整理照片要比拍摄照片辛苦得多，对此我是坚信不移的。而且，照片要是不一张张亲自筛选和调整，拍摄的水平也不会有什么提高。更糟糕的是，以后会仍然保持机械式shotting, 带来的只有缩小硬盘的存储空间而已。建Gallery可以带来一些动力，和发Email或用Messenger来比，用Gallery和亲朋好友分享照片的方式更“美“。等今天整理完“人骨教堂”的照片后，我就算真正完成了3月份的捷克之旅。以后的整理工作也准备按时间的倒序来弄，这样比较有兴致 :D

懒！

懒！一个我深恶痛绝而又难以战胜的“敌人“。 这种由痛恨和无奈而产生的矛盾心态一直折磨着我。所以说，在对付懒惰情绪上，我依然是个新手，亦或说是缺乏毅力和方法。我的德国同事们在这方面似乎处理得很好，他们习惯于有规律的安排和处理自己的事情，很少看到他们手忙脚乱，或者手足无措的样子。 我想这得益于他们长期养成的规划习惯。

在我看来懒分两种。 第一，纯粹的倦怠： 这种情况下，人们多数在荒度时光，说好听点则是在享受时光流逝时的平静而闲暇的生活。 第二： 对个别事物的过分投入，而导致对其他必要事物的忽略和拖拉。 出于这种情况下的人，比较缺乏自制力和规划的兴趣，做事情比较随性。 我觉得自己倾向于后者。 常常因为对自己的Hobby太投入而导致很多重要事情的延误。 每次反省的时候，耳边总回响起儿时父亲的教诲。 羞愧的是到现在我也没有什么大的改变。 今天打算把想到的一些解决方法纪录下来，以便能时常对照提醒 （这人上了年纪阿， 脑子就不好使了）：

1. 切忌做一件事太投入，要分清“轻重缓急“。 该收手的时候决不能妥协。该放弃就放弃，对一件事情太执著，吃苦头的时候就知道有多难受了。 这和对待感情上也是一样。


2. 做事要有规划，不能想到什么做什么，这样可以避免浪费时间在一些无意义的事情上，而遗漏了重要的任务。


3. 要提高做事的效率，这个说起来简单，但是实行起来最复杂。 这牵涉到做事情的方法，步骤，心情，精力和能力。 这个还需要经验的积累。


4. 没有必要让自己忙个不停，可能的话找个清静的时候，静下来想想有什么事情下一步要做，有没有遗漏掉什么。 如果有的话赶紧记下来，随后整理一下自己的Calender。


5. 个人觉得做计划的时候要切实际，别以为自己是牛人，弄得眼高手低。 而且要多少考虑点意外情况。 比如说老婆在周末突然说要你陪逛街之类的 :D


6. 要平衡好自己对金钱和时间的价值观。 自己好几次因为在eBay上为了便宜3，5个欧和别人争Action而每天浪费好几个小时。


7. 最后，对于合理制定的计划，要严格执行。否则都是空谈！

Google Maps in Europe

We're excited to announce that we have just launched beta versions of Google Maps for France, Germany, Italy, and Spain. These sites include the full suite of interactive street maps, driving directions, and integrated local business search. This has been a global effort with Google teams in Paris, Hamburg, Milan, Madrid, New York, Mountain View, Kirkland, Sydney, London, Dublin, and Zurich working together for much of the past year to build a truly "local" product.

Accompanying this release, we have greatly improved high resolution imagery coverage for Europe in both Google Maps and Google Earth. Check out the Eiffel Tower in Paris, Olympiastadion in Berlin, and the Grand Canal in Venice.

To give you a preview of what's to come, we've also rendered street maps for many other countries in Europe. Developers, you can incorporate these maps and imagery into your own websites using the free Google Maps API Version 2.

Frapper: Place photos of you and your friends on a Google Map

Frappr was created by Brian, Kun and James at Rising Concepts, who wanted to see where all their high school and college friends went after they graduated.Frappr (Friend Mapper) lets you see the zip code where your friends live or work, letting you find out who works in the office building next door and who lives in the apartment complex across the street.

Google Calendar

上次还和lihlii提起过Google要出Online Calendar，当时还有不少网上公布所谓测试页面的截图，有真有假。今天碰巧看到一篇说Google自买了Ori Alon算法后推出”Google Sets" 的服务。于是兴冲冲的跑去试，碰巧发现Google居然已经开通Calendar业务了。还没来得急仔细试，不过我也就要个记事提醒的功能，它也自然都带了。在我看来好处是可以和我使用的其他Google工具在一起使用，比较方便，当然你也就被套住了，哈哈！下面是个截图：

Using Enlightenment DR17 in Debian

The motivation is to use the small tool coming with E17 called Engage. However the packages provided by Debian are little bit out of date and the Engage is still not included. After trying out, I finally achieved the installation of the latest E17 in my Debian box. Here is one of my screenshots with default settings.

写中文Blog的老外们！

今天大米的妈妈发给我一个链接，打开一看，发现是篇题为 “我不吃中药” 的Blog短文。当下以为又是哪个国内 “愤青” 的手笔。 不过仔细再看，略微觉得言辞的表达上有几分天真，使我又开始怀疑作者是哪位在外留学的 “娇宝宝”。 直到看见他称呼自己是 “老外” 才明白过来，原来这哥们儿是个写中文Blog的外国朋友。别的不说，其汉语表达的准确性实在是让我有点惊讶。也许我是 ”孤陋寡闻“。因为觉得有趣，又去看了他几个有同样兴趣的朋友的Blog, 也都各有特色。个人觉得这几个 ”老外“ 的汉语能力足以透过故事来表达他们的个性。有兴趣的朋友不防去看看：
